through John 15 warns you're NOT friends if you don't obey Him.

refuse to sorrow
AND
REPENT, still rejecting God's Word, then you're NOT covered by
God's
protecting care,

YET,
by God's GRACE, often He still

In Matthew 23: 37 to the end
AND the end of Luke 13, you can hear Jesus practically weeping on his
last night on earth as he looks over the city: “O Jerusalem,
Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets & stones those who are
sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as
a hen gathers her chicks under her
wings, but you were not willing! See! Your house is left to you
desolate; for I say to you, you
shall see Me no more till you say,

LYRICS Story:
Song
lyrics written at the computer took anl hour. I was telling God,
“Pretty cool!” as I finished matching rhymes and patterns for
this song about my favorite parable...
God's
love like a mother Hen, where “wings” is also a reference to the
tassles at the bottom of Hebrew clothing articles in Jesus's day.
There's safety walking close enough to be at the fringe of His
robe...!
