Isaiah Chapter 2 holds a scary Warning word for

everyone who is proud – not just for the Jews. The

LORD's Day still is coming: No, it hasn't happened yet.

Isaiah 2, Verse 4 –

the LORD's Day has not come, until the world's at peace....

Verse 1

That mountain of The LORD's house shall yet be established. Ex-

alted above hills. And all nations shall show it. Many

people shall come and say “Let's go up to the LORD's house. He'll

teach His ways, and we'll walk His paths. Out from Zion, GOD's laws shall pass.

And the LORD GOD's word shall come out from Jerusalem.

Isaiah 2, verses 2 to 3. >> CHORUS

Verse 2

God shall judge between the nations and rebuke many people. They'll

beat their swords into plowshares and spears to pruning hooks. All

nations will stop wars Come walk in the light of the LORD. For God

will forsake those who forsake Him, those seeking “riches without end”.

Those who seek approval from men and worship their own works.

Isaiah 2, verses 4 to 8. >> CHORUS

Verse 3

GOD shall humble haughty people. Only HE'll be exalted. For the

Day of the LORD of hosts shall come on everything proud and lofty. The

LORD alone shall be exalted on the LORD's Day, coming. All the

foolish idols, He'll abolish on the LORD's Day, which is coming

when He arise – “WHEN”, not “IF”. God shall shake this earth.

Verse 4

The LORD's terror, The LORD's Day, comes and the earth shall shake.

The LORD's glory of His majesty will make people shake.

In that day, people will cast their “worship idols” away. But for

those who refused God's proclaimed savior.

It shall be too late in that Day.

God's “Isaiah 53's Day, already came with Jesus.

Isaiah 2, verse 22 warns, “Believe GOD – NOT people!”

Written while camping in a Walmart parking lot in Steubenville Ohio the morning of Hour #14 driving to the ALIVE Music Festival near Canton. Finished music draft 3 days later... at festival campsite, on my travel guitar under a hickory nut tree. I had to dig a couple of nuts out of my guitar sound hole after the wind blew them down :)

“But know that the LORD has set apart for Himself him who is godly; The LORD will hear when I call to Him... Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, And PUT your trust in the LORD... You [God] have PUT gladness in my heart,.... I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; For You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.”

VERSE 1

How long, people, will you turn LORD GOD's glory to shame?

How long will you PUT your love in such worthless things?

How long will you seek falsehood and PUT your trust in lies? The

LORD sets apart for Himself those who seek Godly lives and PUT Him first.

Those are the people the LORD hears when they call to Him,

PUT-ting trust in Him. Psalm 4, verses 2 and 3.

VERSE 2

Be angry at what GOD calls sin, but don't sin yourself.

Pray always, First Thessalonians 5. [verse 17]

Be still, think on God. Offer GOD the sacrifice of PUT-ting what is right in your

actions and your thoughts: Romans 4:22 shows righteousness with God.

Do NOT PUT your faith in people's claims that God won't show good –

PUT-ting trust in such lies. Psalm 4, verses 4 to 6.

VERSE 3

LORD, lift up the light of Your countenance on us.

Make Your face shine upon us: Numbers 6: 25.

You PUT gladness in the hearts of all who PUT You first. I

thank You for Your blessings, but I

PUT my hope in You, God, not in Things.

I will both lie down in peace and sleep, for I PUT faith in

LYRICS Story:

I completed the lyrics setup in 2011, wrote the music for this song in 2013.... and then “lost” the file for over two more years. I kept seeing it in my To Do list, but didn't realize I'd actually already finished the music! Of course, part of the reason was that my VERY FIRST ORCHESTRA MUSIC that I'd created in my home music studio was ALSO for Psalm 4....

You can find it under the title PSALM 4 SLEEPING GUITARS... a nice quiet piece, written of course with my acoustic guitar (with some pretty arpeggio chords)... and THEN I'd loved that song so much that I re-did it a second way under the title PSALM 4 STORM SLEEPING … a CALM song for when Life Rages Around Us.... In other words:

I DEARLY love the LORD's inspiration to the Psalmist for Psalm 4! My favorite verse: 8...

“I will both lie down in peace, and sleep;

For You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.”

When floods of evil make me fear, and death seems all around me, when

snares of sickness confront me, life's sorrows surround me,

When The LORD thunders from heaven, the seas & earthquakes roar! These

show The Power & angry strength of our Holy LORD! God

LORD GOD delivers me from my enemies.

** Hint: That's what the name of Moses means...

God saved him in the bulrushes from drowning as a baby.

God delights in my love, and He delivers me. As I

seek to keep The LORD's Way, God will deliver me. For I

strive to serve GOD in His Way, to avoid iniquity. To

show mercy to all, so God's merciful to me.

VERSE 4

How do I know GOD is pure? By being pure myself.

God will save the humble people

but bring down haughty- ness. God will

light my lamp with wisdom. See also James 1:5.

GOD's word is true, see Titus 1:2. God yearns to give Light.

Psalm 18 26 to 28. LORD GOD saves!

VERSE 5

Through GOD I get needed strength. GOD's Ways are perfect! NO one

is God except the LORD! He guides my way, gives salvation.

Those who will NOT love our LORD

are DUST IN THE WIND. God

LIFTS me high! Therefore I give loving thanks to Him!

Psalm 18: 29 to the end. God defends ALL who love Him!

This was among first psalms I crafted into lyrics sets for pending songs...

when it was still awkward for me to take SO many words of some songs

& form them into a musical format that would not in ANY way change

The LORD's original words.

It took 4 years to get up courage to come back to this draft:
