LYRICS Story WITH SUPPORTING SCRIPTURES:

Another song empowered by God, for HIS Glory. Ephesians 3:20-21.

Song Story “On Top”: Song full of ASTRONOMY HISTORY: Research from

“The 4 Percent Universe: Dark Matter, Dark Energy,

and the Race to Discover the Rest of Reality” by Richard Panek.

Published only TWENTY DAYS before I wrote this song...

after I had rapidly read the book – twice!

Fascinating Science book published on 10 January 2011,

includes Verse 1 info about Jeremiah Ostriker's math simulation

of the Milky Way's spin rate.

Hebrews 11:6. “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”

Proverbs 25: 2 New KJV: “It is the glory of God to conceal a matter,

But the glory of kings is to search out a matter.”

Like a Treasure Hunt:

Creator God created much FUN for us to discover when seeking thru His Universe!

John 1: 1-3 Yet more CREATION verses beyond Genesis 1:

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and

without Him nothing was made that was made.

LYRICS

CHORUS at beginning & end of song - in 4/4 time

God gives us the FUN of seeking

TREASURE through His Universe.

He rewards, Greatly, all who

diligently seek Complete Truth.

Hebrews 11 Promise in Verse 6 –

REWARDS seeking Science & Truth.

God designed Great TREASURE hunts!

Proverbs 25:2, Seekers have FUN!

(all verses in 3/4 time)

VERSE 1

“The Milky Way's spinning, so fast it should rip.”

Math found in '69 by scientists. < 1969 >

Jeremiah Ostriker made a computer simulation of the

Milky Way's Spinning so fast it should have ripped apart. Ac-

cording to astronomy. According to all humans had seen.

There's more than the 4% of this universe we thought there! It's a

JOY to seek Treasures in all worlds, beyond this one we see!

VERSE 2

Ostriker of Princeton went to James Peebles to share this

puzzle, as he wondered, “Did his math err?”

They decided there are more stars than we see

thru huge telescopes. Ac-

cording to astronomy's math has shown.

According to all scientists had guessed.

There's more than the 4% of this universe we thought there! It's a

JOY to seek Treasures in all worlds, beyond this one we see!

VERSE 3

Recent surveys show the Universe is made of just

4% ordinary matter, we guess.

Concealed for four centuries from the World's astronomers. Ac-

cording to Proverbs 25, Verse 2. It's a JOY to study and seek More:

There's more than the 4% of this universe we thought there! It's a

JOY to seek Treasures in all worlds, beyond this one we see!

VERSE 4

Treasure hunts, & puzzles can give us much joy, while

searching for answers, as in science and math.

Five decades of scientists found 73% is made of

dark energy, and they do NOT know what that is! Ac-

cording to genius scientists, we don't know anything beyond this:

Early math guessed wrong.

There's more than the 4% of this universe we thought there! It's a

JOY to seek Treasures in all worlds, beyond this one we see!

VERSE 5

If you have studied, but still do not see, and

thoughts of a Creator are still hard to believe,

Keep seeking like scientists do. Be honest, NOT closed- minded

to where your seeking Truth may lead you to........... God

lets Himself be found by all who seek Real Truth. Hebrews 11:6,

Promised to You >>>

GOD'S PARABLE: More than the

4% of this universe we thought there!

It's a JOY to seek Treasures in all worlds,

beyond this one we see!

CHORUS at end of song - in 4/4 time

God gives us the FUN of seeking TREASURE through His Universe.

He rewards, Greatly, all who diligently seek Complete Truth.

Hebrews 11 Promise in Verse 6 – REWARDS seeking Science & Truth.

God designed Great TREASURE hunts! Proverbs 25:2, Seekers have FUN!

LYRICS

CHORUS

Isaiah Chapter 2 holds a scary Warning word for

everyone who is proud – not just for the Jews. The

LORD's Day still is coming: No, it hasn't happened yet.

Isaiah 2, Verse 4 –

the LORD's Day has not come, until the world's at peace....

Verse 1

That mountain of The LORD's house shall yet be established. Ex-

alted above hills. And all nations shall show it. Many

people shall come and say “Let's go up to the LORD's house. He'll

teach His ways, and we'll walk His paths. Out from Zion, GOD's laws shall pass.

And the LORD GOD's word shall come out from Jerusalem.

Isaiah 2, verses 2 to 3. >> CHORUS

Verse 2

God shall judge between the nations and rebuke many people. They'll

beat their swords into plowshares and spears to pruning hooks. All

nations will stop wars Come walk in the light of the LORD. For God

will forsake those who forsake Him, those seeking “riches without end”.

Those who seek approval from men and worship their own works.

Isaiah 2, verses 4 to 8. >> CHORUS

Verse 3

GOD shall humble haughty people. Only HE'll be exalted. For the

Day of the LORD of hosts shall come on everything proud and lofty. The

LORD alone shall be exalted on the LORD's Day, coming. All the

foolish idols, He'll abolish on the LORD's Day, which is coming

when He arise – “WHEN”, not “IF”. God shall shake this earth.

Isaiah 2, verses 9 to 19. >> CHORUS

Verse 4

The LORD's terror, The LORD's Day, comes and the earth shall shake.

The LORD's glory of His majesty will make people shake.

In that day, people will cast their “worship idols” away. But for

those who refused God's proclaimed savior.

It shall be too late in that Day.

God's “Isaiah 53's Day, already came with Jesus.

Isaiah 2, verse 22 warns, “Believe GOD – NOT people!”

God's SUPPORTING WORDS:

“Only fools say in their hearts, 'There is no God.'

God looks down from heaven on the entire human race;

LYRICS

PART 1

VERSE 1

“There is nothing new under the sun.” It's TRUE, despite often said. There's

nothing new under stars or moon --- INCLUDING what's called “New Age”. There's

ONE LORD GOD Who has always been...

One Truth – – One only!

God Exists – shown by Evidence that

NO philosophy has – Romans One. >> BRIDGE

BRIDGE

Second Timothy 4 warns us:
Ignore NEW AGE's old words (without– support).
John 10: 10 … in JESUS is Life Abundant !

VERSE 2

“There's nothing new under the sun” when it comes to philosophy. People

do NOT like what they learn of GOD. AND so they keep “seeking”. With

itching ears, they won't endure

Sound Truth that they find. That's

Second Timothy Chapter 4, verses 3 to 5. >> BRIDGE

VERSE 3

There are NO new ways of thinking:

ALL philosophies are really OLD! From

Beating Yourself up with whips or sticks to Self-Centered “I'm THE World!” Then there's

“Life is useless, and then you die.”

That's “Existentialism” – (DEPRESSING!)

Evidence is statistics >>>

answered prayers far beyond norm – Romans One. >> BRIDGE

PART 2

VERSE 4

There is NO philosophy that gives HOPE: See John 10: 10.

You're TOLD by philosophies, “Each and ev'ry sin you do COMDEMNS YOU.

Your happiness depends on YOUR success.”

CHORUS

“There's NO hope unless you're perfect,” says

Old NEW AGE that gives no HOPE or Love.

See the evidence of statistics: Your hopes, fulfilled, show God's

Prayer answer Love.

“There's COMPLETE hope through Jesus, Who's perfect,” says

God IF you accept His Gift of Love.

Each sin you do condemns you, but Jesus

wants you in Heaven, and offers Sin's Payment – FREE!

VERSE 5

God gives no philosophy but SHOWS LOVE: John 3:16

New Age / old philosophies
teach that you're ALONE with NO one to depend on.

God shows those who trust Him:
He gives Strength & Peace. >> CHORUS

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

God's SUPPORTING WORDS:

“Only fools say in their hearts, 'There is no God.' God looks down from heaven on the entire human race; he looks to see if anyone is truly wise, if anyone seeks God.”

-- Psalm 53: 1a and 2, New Living Translation .... a Warning from God to you, too.

LYRICS

CHORUS

Hear me when I call to You, LORD God of my righteousness.

Have mercy and hear my prayer. You relieved me in my distress

….............

In YOU only I PUT my trust. Psalm 4, in God I PUT Trust.

In ME, LORD God PUTs gladness. Psalm 4, in GOD, I PUT my Trust.

….............

SCRIPTURE READING

“Selections from Psalm 4” [Psalm 4: 3, 5, 7a, & 8]

“But know that the LORD has set apart for Himself him who is godly; The LORD will hear when I call to Him... Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, And PUT your trust in the LORD... You [God] have PUT gladness in my heart,.... I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; For You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.”

VERSE 1

How long, people, will you turn LORD GOD's glory to shame?

How long will you PUT your love in such worthless things?

How long will you seek falsehood and PUT your trust in lies? The

LORD sets apart for Himself those who seek Godly lives and PUT Him first.

Those are the people the LORD hears when they call to Him,

PUT-ting trust in Him. Psalm 4, verses 2 and 3.

VERSE 2

Be angry at what GOD calls sin, but don't sin yourself.

Pray always, First Thessalonians 5. [verse 17]

Be still, think on God. Offer GOD the sacrifice of PUT-ting what is right in your

actions and your thoughts: Romans 4:22 shows righteousness with God.

Do NOT PUT your faith in people's claims that God won't show good –

PUT-ting trust in such lies. Psalm 4, verses 4 to 6.

VERSE 3

LORD, lift up the light of Your countenance on us.

Make Your face shine upon us: Numbers 6: 25.

You PUT gladness in the hearts of all who PUT You first. I

thank You for Your blessings, but I

PUT my hope in You, God, not in Things.

I will both lie down in peace and sleep, for I PUT faith in

You alone for safety. Psalm 4, verses 6 to 8. >> CHORUS

God's SUPPORTING WORDS:

Final SCRIPTURE READINGS:

(1)

Romans 4: 20 “Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God. 21 He was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever he promises. 22 And because of Abraham’s faith, God counted him as righteous. 23 And when God counted him as righteous, it wasn’t just for Abraham’s benefit. It was recorded 24 for our benefit, too, assuring us that God will also count us as righteous if we believe in him, the one who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. 25 He was handed over to die because of our sins,

and He was raised to life to make us right with God.” . New Living Translation

(2)

“Selections from Psalm 4” [Psalm 4: 3, 5, 7a, & 8]

New King James Version

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

God's SUPPORTING WORDS:

“You have PUT gladness in my heart...” -- Psalm 4:7 prayer to LORD God.

================================

LYRICS Story:

I completed the lyrics setup in 2011, wrote the music for this song in 2013.... and then “lost” the file for over two more years. I kept seeing it in my To Do list, but didn't realize I'd actually already finished the music! Of course, part of the reason was that my VERY FIRST ORCHESTRA MUSIC that I'd created in my home music studio was ALSO for Psalm 4....

You can find it under the title PSALM 4 SLEEPING GUITARS... a nice quiet piece, written of course with my acoustic guitar (with some pretty arpeggio chords)... and THEN I'd loved that song so much that I re-did it a second way under the title PSALM 4 STORM SLEEPING … a CALM song for when Life Rages Around Us.... In other words:

I DEARLY love the LORD's inspiration to the Psalmist for Psalm 4! My favorite verse: 8...

“I will both lie down in peace, and sleep;

For You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.”
